What will you do as Process Engineer?
You will become an integral part of our Production Team which fulfills the production requirements for the continuously growing market demand towards biodegradable and recyclable foams. In parallel to this essential role our Production Team acts as an architect of yet to be developed Foamplant factories. You will act as our lead process engineer by identifying and solving crucial production bottlenecks. By taking the lead in optimizing our innovative and in-house developed production processes you will be able to push the production efficiency to the next level. Your skills as process engineer deliver continuity and quality by implementing standardized production methods. Your work will set a reliable foundation for developing our sustainable manufacturing industry.

Your job will consist of but is not limited to:
Generating clear data-driven overviews of production processes
Identify & solve major production process bottlenecks
Develop standardized production manuals & methodologies based on Poka Yoke principles
Train & coach colleagues towards realizing increased efficiency
What do we expect from an Process Engineer at Foamplant?
In order to succeed as a tech startup in the challenging manufacturing industry pro-activity, creativity, professionalism, communication and adaptability are crucial. We are looking for people with an ambitious attitude who learn from the past (tried and tested) and who strive to set new standards when needed. Furthermore we are looking for someone with:
A Master or Bachelor degree in Process Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of full time relevant experience
Ability & experience in defining bottlenecks in complex processes
Experience with relevant standards & methodologies in manufacturing industry
Skills for training & coaching colleagues towards optimized performance
Ability to work in dynamical multidisciplinary teams
A strong desire to optimize & automate in collaboration with operators and engineers
Well versed in the Lean Six Sigma Methodology
Availability for at least 32 hours per week
